PERSONALITY

​

Caillie de Draak, or Calliope as is her birth name, has historically been a troubled girl which had caused a shadow to fall over her personality for much of her life. Without this shadow, however, she is bubbly, outgoing, loving, playful, mischievous and occasionally sarcastic. While she is quick on the defensive and fiercely protective of those she loves, the girl finds it hard to be mean, or to deal with confrontation otherwise. She is the kind that will continue to take hit after hit until she's reached the breaking point if someone is hurting her, but won't stand for someone she cares about to be hurting. The wolf in this lycan-hybrid's mind accelerates her defensiveness and her temper - something she is still learning to control.

APPEARANCE

​

Caillie is famously small, more of a sprite than a vampire to be reckoned with. Standing at only 4'9" and having a very petite, feminine posture, she is the type of girl others either underestimate or give a wide berth - you have to look out for the small ones after all. Her skin is porcelain pale, eyes a fiery and glinting tint of jade, and her hair is black as coal. Her fangs are visible when she speaks and her eyes pick up fragments of light more drastically than a human's thanks to her vampirism. Aside from that touch of 'unaturalness', she looks merely like a small girl who belongs in a high school.

When she shifts, Caillie's eyes turn a shade of amber and her body morphs into that of a pure black wolf - medium-sized, about 3 feet tall and coming in at 80-odd pounds.

STRENGTHS & SKILLS

​

Caillie is brave, first and foremost. She has been through a great deal in her life and therefore doesn't find herself scared often. She is also protective of those she cares about and loyal to the ones that prove they aren't out to hurt or abandon her. She is intelligent, and can easily manipulate weaker people - humans namely - to do what she wants. Caillie has a great understanding to people thanks to her studies in Social Work and a wide range of life experiences. She is developing skills in hand-to-hand combat as well as on-grid fighting.

WEAKNESSES & VICES

​

The same life experiences that have given Caillie her bravery, street smarts and understanding of people have also given her an addictive personality, a general distrust of people as well as a wide range of insecurities. She is weak in the face of those she allows into her mind and under her skin, and up until recently has used alcohol, narcotics and sex as a release from the pain of those encounters. Caillie will almost never think she is worth what's around her, what she holds dear, and will second guess her successes and abilities. Coming from a lifetime of abuse, neglect and exploitation has  left her wounded, often struggling and fighting to hold on.
